singer aja worked with a baptist gospel choir in new york/new jersey for half a year. guitar player toni eberle lived in salvador/bahia where he played with brazilian musicians for half a year. on their debut album both are musically influenced by two cultures that originate in africa. soul and samba flow together into a new style. aja and toni set acoustic impulses. the natural vibration between a guitar and a voice supported by sounds of the keyboard and percussion.
